The Inn has plentiful parking.  Residents can pre-arrange to have a parking space reserved for them close to the main accommodation entrance.

The car park is level and has a tarmac surface.

There is a step in to the front of the Inn and a step up into the back entrance

Assistance can be provided with parking and luggage.

Bar area

The bar area has one step if accessed by the back garden door. The stairs to the 3 1st floor rooms is opposite the back garden door.

The reception/bar area is located to your right as you enter through this door.

There are a number of seating areas in the bar area

We can provide a magnifying glass and easy to hold pens if required.

There are one steps to the restaurant / bar.

The floor in the bar area has wooden floors. There is a step which is highlighted with a white strip. There are flag stone sloors from the bar area to the back door and Accommodation access.

Familiarisation tours can be provided if required.

There is a phone on the reception desk that guests can use.

The hotel is only one storey floors high.

There are separate toilet facilities provided for ladies and gents both with tiles marble floors on the ground floor..

Access to the toilets is level and entered from the bar there is one step down from the bar area.

There is colour contrast with critical surfaces, tiles are coloured and the sanitary ware is white.





Table service is available.

The tables are all of equal height.

Lighting is a combination of natural and electric light

The restaurant has wooden floors/tiled areas and continues to the back of the building.

We can cater for all special dietary needs.

Staff will provide full explanations of every dish when ordering and will explain the dish when presented at the table.



Bedrooms

We have 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are situated on the first floor  of the main building and 1 room is one the ground level (room 4).

Access to the first floor rooms involves 14 internal stairs whereas room 4 rooms is at level ground floor access.

Each room has a smoke alarm.

Bedrooms vary in size and some will be more suited to a wheelchair than others.  Please enquire at the time of booking.

Emergency procedures are posted on the door to each bedroom and are explained upon check in for any disabled guests.

Every bedroom has television and radio with remote control.

Flooring in all bedrooms is carpeting or wooden floors

Bedroom lighting can be switched on at the entrance to the room.

There are bedside lights.

All rooms are non-smoking in compliance with current legislation.

Dogs are permitted in all rooms.

A magnifying glass can be provided on request.

Bathrooms

All bathrooms have tiled floors, 1 has a painted wooden floor

All baths have grips attached.

All sanitary ware is white.

Gardens

There is a large garden overlooking the castle, all of which are on the level with no steps associated with access.  Standard construction wooden tables are available with bench style seating.

We have also been improving and upgrading facilities, We can now offer a ground floor bedroom with wide door access. We are also working to creating a ramp so there are no steps in the bar area.
